Statement of Philosophy This office views adoption as a positive family building option in which the adoptive parents and the biological family plan together for the child's best interest.  The process works best when the interests of all members of the adoption triad are considered and respected.  The most complete information available is seen as a prerequisite to an informed consent. Adoption, in addition to being a legal process, is a major life decision having personal and social ramifications.  For this reason, clients are encouraged to utilize available counseling and support group resources. As an adoption professional, Ms. Eisenman views her role as that of an educator, facilitator, and advisor rather than a surrogate decision maker.  Her office works with clients from a wide range of personal, ethnic, educational, financial and religious backgrounds.
